What is a quick test clinic?

  • Quick test clinics are free, confidential, and operate on a walk-in basis (no appointment needed).
  • Quick Test Clinics offer self-testing for people without symptoms.
  • Quick test clinic only screen/test for chlamydia and gonorrhea.
  • A health card is NOT required to receive our services, but if you have one, please bring it.
  • Do not urinate (go pee) 1 hour before you come for testing.
  • Access to free condoms (lubricated condoms, oral condoms) and low-cost emergency contraception.

What is a sexual health clinic?

  • If you have been named a contact of a sexually transmitted or blood borne infection, please see below for your local options to access testing and treatment.
  • Do not urinate (go pee) 1 hour before you come for testing.

What sexual health clinic services are available

  • Sexually transmitted and blood borne infections (STBBI) testing including Hep C, syphilis, and HIV.
  • Free STBBI treatment for individuals who have been diagnosed with a STBBI and their sexual partners (contacts).
  • Support for access to contraception.
  • Pregnancy options counselling, including support in accessing abortion services.
  • High risk vaccinations including hepatitis A and B, HPV, and mpox for those who are eligible. Speak to the nurse if interested.
  • Access to free condoms (lubricated condoms, oral condoms) and low-cost emergency contraception.

Remember: test results

The sexual health services test result policy at the Southeast Public Health is “no news is good news”. We will only contact you if you have a positive test result. Do not contact the clinic for your results.
